3. Now take the right section, and cross it under the middle.

4. Now we will start adding more hair into our braid. Take a small section of the hair that’s already down on the left side, and combine it with the current left section.

5. As always, cross them both under the middle.

6. Now do the same thing on the right side: take some hair and combine it with the right section.

7. Cross that combined section under the middle section.

8. And that’s pretty much the whole technique! It may seem complicated at first, but as soon as you understand and learn the basics, you will be braiding a professional Dutch Braid in NO time. Continue doing the same thing all the way down until the nape of your neck. Add more hair in on the right, cross under the middle. Add more hair in on the left, cross under the middle. So repetitive – easy peasy!

9. When you get to the nape of your neck (are your arms hurting yet?! haha), check in the mirror to make sure that it looks like this:

10. And then take all the hair to the side and finish off with a regular 3 strand braid:

How to Fish Tail

This instructions will teach you how to create a fishtail braid.

Step 1

Push all hair behind your shoulders. Preferably hair that has already been brushed and has no tangles. Divide hair into two sections down the back.

Step 2

Take a small outer piece of one of the two sections of your hair (it doesn’t matter which section you start with). Cross the small piece over and add it to the inside of the other section. This piece you have crossed will now become a part of the other section. Keep your crossed piece tight or hair may start to come out once you’ve finished braiding.

Step 3

Now you’re going to make the exact same cross but this time you will use the other section of hair. So, once again take a small piece from the outer part of the section and cross it over to the inside of the opposite section. Again, remember to keep the crosses tight.

Step 4

Continue crosses small outer pieces over to the inside of the opposing section. The smaller the pieces you cross, the better the braid will end up. Stop braiding once you feel the sections getting too small. This should be around two or three inches from the bottom of you hair.

Step 5

Once you’ve reached the end of the braid, tie it off with an elastic. Preferably a thin, clear one, but if not any hair tie will work.

How to do a Waterfall braid

Follow these steps for the How to do a Waterfall Braid tutorial:

  1. With a part on the right side, take a section of hair on the heavy side of the part.
  2. Divide this into three sections and cross the back strand over the middle then the front strand over the middle.
  3. Next, cross the back strand over the middle and bring in a section of hair to create a french braid.
  4. Now cross the front strand over the middle and bring in a section of hair like in step 3.
  5. Next, cross the back strand over the middle and bring in another section of hair.
  6. This time, in stead of crossing the front strand over the middle, drop it down, and pick up a section of hair directly behind that strand. Cross it over the middle in place of the dropped strand.
  7. Now cross the back strand over and bring in hair per usual.
  8. Next, repeat step 6 dropping the front strand and bringing in a replacement strand.
  9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 until the braid reaches the back of the head.
  10. Continue braiding the three strands down into a regular braid and pin it against the head.
  11. Lay hair over the top of the pin to hide it.
  12. Finish with hairspray and you are set!

How to French Braid

  1. Brush hairBefore braiding, brush hair to smooth out any knots or tangles.
  2. Gather hair at top of head; divide into three sectionsStarting at the hairline, gather enough hair from top of head to start a regular braid. Divide hair into three equal sections. Hold right section in right hand, left section in left hand, and middle section between thumb and another finger of either hand.
  3. Cross the sectionsTo begin braid, cross right section over middle section, then repeat this move with left section, smoothing hair down as you go. Pull sections fairly tight; you don’t want the braid to be loose and come undone.
  4. Add hair to the sectionBefore repeating your cross-over motion with the right section, gather a little bit of additional hair from the head’s right side, and add it to this section; now cross this larger portion of hair over the middle section of the braid.

Tip: Make sure that the sections of hair you’re adding are roughly equal or the braid will look lopsided.

  5. Add hair to the section on the other sideGather a small section (of equal size to the one you just gathered) of the remaining hair on the left side of your head up and into the left section and cross that over the middle section.

Tip: Slightly dirty hair has less “slip,” making it easier to braid.

  6. Repeat adding hair and crossing sectionsRepeat steps 4 and 5, adding hair until you’ve gathered in all additional hair strands. Finish at the bottom with a regular braid.
  7. Secure the braid at the end with a bandOnce you reach the bottom of the braid, secure the end with a hair band, wrapping it tightly around the hair.

Eye Lash Tinting

Is lash tinting is it safe? The answer is yes. The best benifit is it last weeks and you don’t need to apply Mascara. The tint last until the lashes fall out. The touch ups just need to be applied to the regrowth every few weeks. It’s great for someone that does not want to do extensions but also does not want to do mascara. Eyelash tinting is great for everyone.  The extra great bonus is that our products are all natural and organic.
